I really wanted to write about this. Since I’m quite young, I can remember the excitement of having artichoke for lunch in summer. Not sure if it was the because you had to peel the leaves all the way to the delicious heart or the taste itself.
Later in my life I started having other encounters with this Flower/Food/ I mean, it never occurred to me that it could be so versatile and there were so many different ways of cooking or arranging Artichokes!
For me its fascinating!!
Here goes some fotos or arrangements and salads you can include as well as my fav restaurants that have the best artichokes on a plate.
I love the artichoke salad at St Ambroeus in summer, IT CAN NEVER GO WRONG.
This is an Artichoke and Octopus salad at Casa Cavia, one of my favorite restaurants for lunch in the city.
