I have been visiting all the small towns in the area and will be posting some fun places to visit, shops, restaurants that I loved, and maybe even some drives that I find interesting, as I really enjoy cruising. Yes I know you know, I’m always on the move, I can’t help it! It runs definitely on my veins!
That said, I popped into this beautiful store, two days ago. After having lunch with my kids, in Carpinteria, I decided to take a stroll and walked in front of {PORCH}. Its a home store, located on Santa Claus Lane. It really caught my eye for its diversity through the window. So, naturally I entered, and immediately become a fan.
The huge variety of home products stocks the room. Furniture, tableware (loved the handmade ceramics), table linens, and all sort of decoration artifacts for the home, and not to mention, the garden.
As I kept wandering inside the spacious room, I came to realize that there was an equally large patio. Right out the back door, and it was full to garden/patio with more goodies, that would be perfect for my stables at home. There is a great variety of planters of all sizes. Furniture for patio, and my favorite item: the vintage inspired umbrella. I could right away, pictured myself placing them in my farm, down in Argentina.
As a matter of fact, I loved the store so much that I would consider them for help. In my opinion they’d do a great job with the look and feel for a party at home {while in Cali}.
In addition, there is a boutique trailer parked within the outdoor area within the store. The name is Folly. Its filled with cute little things for children, including apparel, stuffed animals and local designers items. There is also some beauty products. I was attracted by the gypsy look, and the vintage feel.
I really enjoyed this place and hope you do too.

Just catching up on your blog, I discovered all the notices in my spam folder. Porch looks like a perfect store to visit with something for everyone! My husband went to school in Santa barbara; such a beautiful area.
And I do not know why I have this weird avatar! I think one of my kids is playing a prank on me!
