Since we started traveling with the family all around the globe we have been in numerous countries, cities and hidden corners. I love the interchange of cultures and always covet in my heart something of each place, whether its a photo, a drawing, or a vintage pice, I love to bring home anything that reminded me of that certain moment.
My house is an expression of my mind. I also encourage my children to make their “interventions” because thats what makes a place unique. I find happiness in their happines, so I always respect opinions , and listen to their needs.
My favorite sources of inspirations are usually books. But, i also love to photograph gardens, trees, landscapes. Get textiles in markets, and why not food… I also find that I use the scents as a way to keep a moment in mind. Like, fresh magnolias remind me of my childhood and my grandmother. But I’ll never forget the so tempting-smell of freshly baked goods in the patisserie in Paris. Who doesn’t remember the freshly baked cake smell in your mom’s kitchen? Or asado (bbq Argentina style) Yum!!
I find color also is a constant reminder of moments. We all have a blue momento in the wardrobe…0
