Whenever I hit the road, which is frequently in this polo life I lead with my family, I drink even more water than usual. It helps me fight jet lag more than anything else I have found. As soon as I get to my destination, I try to book a massage. Soon after that bliss, I shower to rid myself of toxins. On this trip there was luckily a spa at our hotel.
Finding a solid workout that’s also fun, such as Wednesday’s groove session at The Playground LA @ Melrose, put on by Underarmour, was also key. We women danced and dropped sweat like there was no tomorrow!
Of course, eating clean is always my intention, but it’s unfortunately not always possible. When you’re rushing to meetings and jobs it’s sometimes difficult to be able to have a proper meal. We all know how tempting and easy it can be to snack on garbage food.
After discovering Juice Served Here via UberEATS on this trip, I have solved part of the problem. By drinking one of their yummy choices in the mornings, at least I know I will have taken in veggies and fruit at the beginning of the day. Better than caffeine and sugar, right?
Today I had UberEATS deliver a cleanse to me from Juice Served Here. What I’m looking for in a cleanse is to flood my body with nutrients and give myself a lift. The only juice in Juice Served Here hard cleanse series that I worry about downing is the coconut milk – coconut water #5. As wonderful as they are for your body, coconut liquids don’t always agree with me. Maybe I’ll give it a go anyway and see how my body reacts.
Last thing: gotta get me some sunlight, about 15 minutes of sunscreen-free time on my arms, hands and face, to enjoy its vitamin D-boosting benefits. You know, like feeling calm and focused from increased saratonin levels.
